Portraits

I think I was most successful with the artistic portait because it was easy to show emotion. For the artistic portait I had my model show most of her emotion through her face, as the light from the sum came down on her.

Compositional Trick #8 Fill in Flash

Fill in Flash can be used to show the picture better and can be used to create a darker picture when not used. It can show different types of lighting that you wouldnt normally see in with a regular picture.

Compsitional Trick #7 Lighting

Lighting can be used to show the mood on someones face and give you a deeper feeling and respect for the person in the picture, it also can tell a story and it can set different emotions.

Compositional Trick #6 Framing

Framing is a tool used to have the picture go straight to the point of focus. It is used to narrow the things in the picture that would most of the time take you off focus from the main idea.

Compositional Trick #4 Simplicity

I didn't really like this picture that I took I think i could of did a better job. But it was kind of hard to me to find a simple idea I think i thought too much about the background being simple and not the picture.

Compostional Trick #2 Leading Lines

Leading Lines is a way to use the lines that are around you to lead you to the main object of the picture. It can be a way to get the person to be more interested and better to understand.

Compositional Trick #1 Rule of Thirds

Rule of thirds is when you set the camera up so it has a 3 x 3 setting or 9 boxes. this is used to get a better angle and not always have your pictures center and right in the middle. When you have your camera in the Rule of Thirds it makes it so the position of the camera is more angled and makes it more intresting to look at.
